Un jour, un jeune garçon fugue et prend le large sur un petit voilier. Il rencontre Line dont il tombe amoureux mais son impression de liberté sera de courte durée : le père les retrouve... Le film aborde des thèmes fondamentaux: l'entrée d'un jeune garçon dans le monde des adultes, les rapports père-fils, les passions entre les êtres.
One day, a young boy runs away and heads out to sea on a little sailing boat. He meets Line and falls in love with her, but his impression of being free will be shortlived : they are found by the father... The film treats important themes: the young boy's entry into the adult world, father-son relationships, the problems men have in certain situations and passion.
