David a vingt-cinq ans et aucune perspective d’avenir. Il tue le temps avec ses amis délinquants dans un gymnase du centre ville. Tout plutôt que rentrer à la maison : son père est gravement malade, son frère est handicapé mental et il n’arrive pas à communiquer avec sa mère. Alors que son père est à l’agonie, la police fait une descente au gymnase. David à une chance de redémarrer à zéro et de reconstruire sa vie.
David is twenty-five with few prospects for the future. His days are spent hanging around with petty criminals at an inner-city gym. Still, it’s better than home : his father is terminally ill, his brother is mentally handicapped and he’s unable to connect with his mother. But then, as his father is on his deathbed, the gym is raided by the police. David is given a chance to start over from scratch and rebuild his life.
