La vie passe lentement dans le petit village de pêcheurs sur la côte est de l’Islande. Ça n’est pas pour déplaire à la jeune Hildur qui apprécie cette routine. Aussi est-ce un déchirement pour Hildur quand sa sœur Svava part pour Reykjavik. Incapable de la retenir, elle décide, accompagnée par Aggi, le copain de Svava, de la rejoindre. Une panne de voiture les oblige à camper au milieu de nulle part. Leur amitié est mise en péril par un désir amoureux naissant.
Life moves slowly in the small fishing village on the East coast of Iceland. Hildur enjoys the routine. It’s an upheaval in her life when her sister Svava moves to Reykjavik. Unable to convince Svava to stay, Hildur and Aggi, Svava’s boyfriend set out on a trip to be with her. When their car breaks down, the two are forced to camp in the middle of nowhere. Their friendship is compounded by the danger of falling in love with each other.
